University of Michigan Donald R. Shepard Softball
The Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center is a three-story, 10,200 square foot building that creates a home for the University of Michigan’s nationally acclaimed softball program. The building, located adjacent to Alumni Field, has a design that reinforces the language of the athletic campus and creates a facility designed to bring coaches and student-athletes together. The design creates a collaborative space that promotes team activities as well as offices for coaches, support staff, and athletic medicine. The building includes a locker room, team and training rooms, fitness space with hydrotherapy pools, and multipurpose meeting space. The Center also features a Hall of Fame on the main floor.
