The YMCA of Greater Flint
The YMCA of Greater Flint and The Uptown Reinvestment Corporation Foundation is partnering to construct a mixed-use facility in downtown Flint designed to co-locate affordable housing, a community wellness center, and youth education and family programming. The building will include approximately 55,000 square feet for a new YMCA facility. The new Downtown YMCA will include a six-lane lap pool, family splash pad, spa, locker rooms, a full-length basketball court, as well as a running and walking track. It will also include a cardio and weight room, common rooms for community partners and educational programs, and space for a health partner to co-locate onsite.
