Peckham Inc. Corporate Headquarters
Peckham, Inc., a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization, provides job training opportunities for persons with significant disabilities and other barriers to employment, celebrated the opening of their 329,000 square feet (SF) manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters on Earth Day. Sustainability-focused, the design of Peckham’s facility uses universal and sustainable design standards. Integrated Architecture embraced the opportunity to create a world-class environment for a unique population and designed a building filled with natural light and fresh air that works. Peckham’s primary contract is with the federal government, sewing uniforms for the armed services. Of the 329,000 SF, 189,000 was new construction, and 140,000 was the renovation of an existing warehouse.
