Peckham Warehouse

This Peckham Industries Warehouse project illustrates its commitment to creating sustainable, healthy environments that support its employees. Both the warehouse and office staff enjoy a healthy work environment filled with fresh air, natural light, and the opportunity to spend lunch and breaks on the patio. The utilitarian metal building, LEED Gold certified, minimizes its footprint through an extensive transportation management plan that reduces parking requirements. Shared infrastructure also decreases the building’s square footage. Acreage is available to Peckham’s corporate farm, operated by Peckham employees. The farm uses compost collected from all Peckham’s separate facilities and produces enough to supply a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) with 50 crop shares and the warehouse café with truly farm-fresh produce.
