Lamar Construction
When Lamar Construction wanted to create a landmark office for their business, they turned to Integrated Architecture to create an office that literally floats above their garage and carpentry shop. The resulting cantilever is among the longest in the nation. Designing on the edge, the project included analysis of floor vibration and actions to minimize any movement of the cantilevered office complex. The resulting corporate headquarters is exactly what Lamar hoped for, a facility that would showcase their ability as master builders in regard to steel erection and construction expertise, and a facility that works as great as it looks.
