Davenport University Student Recreation Center and Fieldhouse
The Davenport University student center/field house/athletic complex enhances student life and bolsters the growing intercollegiate sports program, providing locker rooms and support spaces for student-athletes as well as social spaces for the student body. The field house uses a stacked solution to separate the athletic facilities (gym floor, locker rooms, film viewing rooms, weightlifting facility and athletic trainer/taping room) from the upper-level student center. Spectators enter on the main level and access the field house from the top of the 1,500-seat arena. The main level also provides access to a three-lane track that circles the back-to-back gyms. The adjacent soccer field can be viewed from the lounge.
