Arbor Preparatory High School
Arbor Preparatory High School is a charter high school located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The building’s construction was finished in 2011 and opened the same year. The high school offers 27 classrooms, two laboratories, an art studio, a music room, and a central student commons space. Designed to bring out the best in students and teachers, each classroom is equipped with the latest technology, including interactive digital whiteboards and a 100% school-wide wireless network, allowing students access to a true working environment. Creating an open, student-centered environment, the main entry/student commons/atrium serves as a central gathering spot for students as it connects them to the academic wings. Recognizing the importance of parents, the facility also offers space for private parent-teacher meetings. The facility includes an 800-seat gymnasium for athletic competitions, performances, and events. The gym converts into a facility with two full-size practice courts, accommodating various other athletic uses.
