7 Monks Taproom

7 Monks-Grand Rapids is a craft beer bar and gastropub located at 740 Michigan Street in Grand Rapids. The taproom fills the commercial space of the Integrated Architecture designed Lofts on Michigan, a midtown mixed-use building. Upon entry, the focal point is the bar with a custom-designed tap-wall for the 57 different taps that offer a variety of wine, cider, and craft beers. With a cozy atmosphere that is current and friendly, the taproom has seating on two floors, with the main floor being 4,500 square feet (SF) and the mezzanine with 1,100 SF. By using beautiful wood, natural materials, and dark colors on the walls and ceilings, the team developed an inviting, cozy space offering various places for customers to sit or stand while enjoying conversation, great food, and an array of craft beer.
