Interiors Inspiration: NeoCon Share Out

Our interiors team traveled to Chicago to attend NeoCon with the goal to seek new inspiration, evaluate trends, and to explore new product applications. In addition to exploring the Merchandise Mart, the busy and evolving Fulton Market District provided ample opportunity to not only experience product, but architectural interiors. Below are curated themes of what inspired us.

Texture: Visually inspired texture and layers are present throughout the built environment.

Scale: The use of scale helps to bring focus to a particular design element or to help minimize it. A mix of different scales used together can create an impact.

Details: Seen in furniture and architecture, unique material uses and combinations help to elevate a space.

Wow!: Refreshing, impactful, or unexpected elements can help create a moment of delight or awe. Features can be created through use of color, pattern, scale, and layering.

Tables: There were many great examples of how to add standing, height adjustability, and mobility to a space. Streamlined designs provide thoughtful features that fit within meeting, collaborative, and individual spaces.

Space Division: In the current needs of the workplace, it's important to consider flexbility that supports the way people work. Division was created utilizing different products such as whiteboards, planters, and seating.
